The BLACKROLL® Recovery Experience Day was more than just an event. It was a community, a sharing of knowledge, and an authentic brand experience. And above all, it was proof that partnership at BLACKROLL® doesn’t mean just posting about a product—it means growing together.

Friday: Energized, Inspired, Connected

It was clear right from check-in: This wasn’t just a gathering of names, but of people with a vision. Everyone was welcomed by Marius Keckeisen, founder and CIO of BLACKROLL®, and Robert Kruschke, Head of Partnerships & Education.

Both made one thing clear: Everyone here is part of our story.

The first highlight followed immediately at Base Five: a sleep tracker by Dr. Lutz Graumann, which collected important data throughout the entire weekend—a long-term ECG for recovery.

The subsequent training session with Christopher was filled with sweat, laughter, and energy— Sweat. Roll. Repeat.

A genuine sense of connection emerged during dinner together: During the introductions, it became clear just how diverse the community is—from trail runner Kimi Schreiber to Olympic snowboarder Ramona Hofmeister to Hyrox world champion Linda Meier.

Afterward, Chris Ebenbichler ’s moving talk on crisis management highlighted that recovery is more than just physical rest—it begins in the mind.

Saturday: Sunrise, Sleep & Superpowers

Even before breakfast, there was an absolute highlight:
Rooftop yoga with Stefan at Kaufhaus Tyrol.
With a view of the Alps and the rising sun, we breathed mindfully, stretched—and let go.

Back at the hotel, we had breakfast followed by an in-depth presentation by Dr. Lutz Graumann on sleep analysis. New products were also introduced—including upgrades to the BLACKROLL® app, which now allows you to track your rolling sessions.

Kathrin Messer then led a Power Nap & Box Breathing session —short routines with big results.

In the afternoon, the program split into two tracks:

  • Community Brainstorm with Robert: How can athletes help shape the brand?
  • Product Presentation with Marius: New tools, smarter recovery, visions for the future.

Afterward, it was time for one last training session—all out.

During this time, not only were countless content snippets created, but also genuine brand moments that touched the heart.

Sunday: A Memorable Farewell

Before heading back home, the schedule included a photo shoot, interviews, and feedback. One quote from Leni Runner (Ingalena Schömburg-Heuck) really stuck with me:

“It feels like I’m really able to contribute to the brand and be seen as a partner. It’s like being a BLACKROLL® employee.”

Words like these are more than just praise to us. They’re a commitment.
